Parasitic wasp - Trogus lapidator

Parasitic wasp - Trogus lapidator
Havre-Saint-Pierre, Duplessis County, Quebec, Canada
April 18, 2013
Size: 0.6 inchs
Emerged from chrysalis of Papilo brevicauda which I received last year.

Moved
Although Trogus lapidator apparently hasn't been previously recorded from Quebec, I am making that placement because of the black hind tarsus and because it has been recorded from this host. Trogus fulvipes is also recorded from this host, but the hind tarsus is not black in that species. Trogus pennator has also been reared from this host.

Moved from Ichneumon Wasps.
