leaf mould = duff
Collected in duff?

duff1: the buttocks or rump
duff2: a flour pudding boiled or steamed in a cloth bag
duff4: organic matter in various stages of decomposition on the floor of the forest

Must be duff4. I think this is the same thing as "leaf mould". I found a good definition here: "the layer of mouldering dead leaves under the leaf litter".

duff
Who knew it was such a fun word? Now I'm wondering what duff3 is. =]
