At first I thought it was a squashed Altica beetle.

Moved from Zicrona caerulea.

Move is based on new information available in (1).

Based on new records from the surrounding region, identification of Zicrona spp. in Washington is probably impossible without examining the male genitalia.

nice... Z. caerulea seems to be the only Zicrona species in WA
very common in Europe, but not so in the Nearctic
