I was thinking the double band in the ST, the light oblique with three trailing chevrons and the black dash certainly matches pinned specimens on MPG, but wasn't confident enough to move to a new species for BugGuide. I was relieved to see Sangmi Lee had already confirmed :)

Actually ...
it's sometimes good to leave your initial thoughts, even if transferring to comments of original post. I often find ID's by searching for a similar moth and looking through the images that others had thought it was. Rather difficult to describe but kinda like Family Feud concept ... what would others say it is :)
