Psocopteran of somekind? - Psocus crosbyi - Female
Aromas, San Benito County, California, USA
April 27, 2013
Size: 3.9mm length.
Found using beating sheet on Quercus agrifolia, in the search for more of these . I think this is another of the same species. I'm posting the images of the three specimens found today so that Diane can determine which specimens she wants me to send to her.

Psocus crosbyi Chapman, female --det. E.L. Mockford
"Note the regenerated hing tibia plus tarsus."

Moved from Hyalopsocus.

Moved from Psocomorpha.

Gary sent this one and
I performed a dissection. My slide turned out very well and it is definitely Psocus crosbyi and Dr. Mockford knew without dissection.
