Got a female from the cocoons I collected! The male/female are really sexually dimorphic.

It's always good...
to get both the male and female together when working with Dryinidae. They are generally so dimorphic that associations are difficult to make with randomly collected specimens. Did you determine the host too?

Thanks for the ID! It was awesome to see males and females and get a nice series of these guys (I'm up to 3 males and 3 females with a few cocoons still to hatch). I was not able to determine the host, we just found homopteran nymphal husks next to the larval cocoons. We think they were maybe immature flatids or cicadellids. I can post a picture if you would like and think it would help to narrow down a host.

These pictures (http://bugguide.net/node/view/765725) are of the males that came out of these cocoons too, so should they be moved to the Dryinus crawfordi page as well?
