Araecerus fasciculatus Correct as sent. Reported from Florida feeding on young oranges causing fruit drop. A cosmopolitan stored product pest.

I will if I can find the little guy :) I only shoot images and don't collect. If I am able to find the specimen, I will get it and inquire on a specialist. Since I photograph an average of 5 organisms a day, it would add up quick!

in this particular case,
...agric. authorities should be able to confirm, since the species is a cosmopolitan 'pest' and you could simply mail it to the local Agricultural Commissioner's Office, i guess.
with native bugs, though, the arrangement may not be that straightforward --but please see

(in my opinion, voucher specimen is the only right way to document a record; photography can only get you so far; unless the ID is based on expert-examined specimens, we cannot call it a positive one in all honesty.
