Allograpta series from north of Death Valley - Allograpta obliqua - female

Allograpta series from north of Death Valley - Allograpta obliqua - Female
Mouth of Cottonwood Canyon, at southeast base of the White Mountains, Inyo County, California, USA

[I'm adding this image and the next in response to Ron's comment under the 1st image in this series.]

The inset to the right of my photo, taken from pg. 24 of the reference by Fluke (1942), shows the dorsal abdomenal patterns for A. obliqua and A. exotica.

Note the female in my photo (from dichoptic eyes) doesn't match as well with the female A. exotica in the figure as it does with the figure for male A. obliqua. Also, the the shape of the abdomen in my specimen has a longer, narrower outline that is more in accord with the figure of A. obliqua.
