Chalcid Wasp

Chalcid Wasp
Guelph, Wellington, Ontario, Canada
September 12, 2006
Size: 2 mm
This is as much as I can magnify the image without losing the quality (which is already pretty bad; the little thing wouldn't sit still for even a second). Probably a Mymarid of some sort, though I'm nowhere near knowledgable on such tiny wasps.

Thanks again!
I'm curious to know, are you a Diapriid specialist?

Diapriidae
Diapriidae (Proctotrupoidea) is a good guess. 2 mm would be a monster mymarid.

Thanks Donald
I actually hesitated to put Mymarid because of the size ... it makes more sense now :-)
