Can you please identify this for me! - Leucauge

Can you please identify this for me! - Leucauge

This spider was strikingly beautiful in the sunlight with the golden flecks on it's abdomen. I had someone identify this for me as an orchard orb weaver, but their range did not list the west half of the US, let alone California. I am a bit puzzled as to the info on this spider, please clear it up for me.

Another one from CA

Moved
Moved from ID Request. I send out some emails. In the meantime since this is a fairly interesting find, could you take more images?

Certainly looks to be Leucauge venusta
Don't know what it is doing in California. But it is easy for spiders to travel long distance with all our traffic and highways.

sorry I forgot I posted here
sorry I forgot I posted here until today. I did not clarify, these spiders are everywhere in my back yard among blackberry bushes in a rural area far from the freeway.
