Very cool!
I am trying really hard to get a handle on these before the upcoming season starts so I can get better pics if the occasion allows it. You have a great variety of them, Stu. I *think* I found lunulatus at Fundy 9and hope for better pics and a few specimens for better ID purposes), but I have never knowingly seen these yet. Superb!

Not an ID, but looks like Lejops bilinearis
However, I'm not up on eastern species. Hopefully, an expert will comment.

Thanks very much, Ron. I've looked through the Lejops in the Ontario Syrphid guide and bilineatis does seem a good fit.
