Pink-bodied Hawkmoth? -
Agrius cingulata
Corpus Christi, Nueces County, Texas, USA

I think this is a pink bodied hawk moth. Don't know if it's male or female though. It definitely didn't like my taking photos of it though - it vibrated it's wings the whole time.

. They vibrate their wings in order to warm flight muscles to take-off temperature, so I understand. Many moths do this in preparation for flight, but especially the sphinxes.
