Polistes sp. ? - Polistes bahamensis

Polistes sp. ? - Polistes bahamensis
Emeralda Marsh Conservation Area, Lake County, Florida, USA
April 28, 2013
I assume this is a species of Polistes, but I'm not sure. This little gang of three was doing its thing on a good-sized palmetto at Emeralda Marsh Conservation Area. This was perhaps 30-40 yards from the waterline. Sorry, I don't have exact measurements. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Two photos will be posted, as each photo gives a different angle of the same three individuals.

I think the Polistes annularis is prettier
I myself love the Polistes annularis, it is a prettier wasp/ If you want to see it, click on my name and I have a photo of it which is linked to my flickr page.
