sawfly - Fenusella nana

sawfly - Fenusella nana
Berlin, Coos County, New Hampshire, USA
May 14, 2013
Size: 4.5mm
There were hundreds of these sawflies in a 10 meter area where I found this one on low hanging tree leaves.

Tenthredinidae, Heterarthrinae
ok for Fenusella nana. Specimen examined.

Moved
Moved from "Symphyta" - Sawflies, Horntails, and Wood Wasps.
Sure looks like Fenusella nana. I have the specimen saved for Dave Smith, so he can let us know if we're right or not.

Fenusella nana?
