some kind of hoppers mating? - Homalodisca vitripennis - Plantation, Fort Lauderdale County, Florida, USA September 12, 2006
saw these two while stalking dragonflies in my backyard, they were such a challenge to shoot because everytime I brought my lens to one side they did a very coordinated dance to the other side of the branch!! It was difficult but funny at the same time. Now.. also, the white marking on their stomach was due to my flash accidently being set higher (for being farther away shooting dragons)so, I don't think that is some kind of identifier.
I checked the hopper section of the guide and couldn't find them, so I am thinking they are something else??
Thanks,
Charles
