I've seen a number of 3-fly pile-ups...but few (if any) 4-fly ones.

PS: Actually, I think 5 individuals are in this clump: 2 on top facing forward, 2 on the bottom facing away, and a 5th whose wings are visible (facing forward) behind the bottom two...appearing to be clinging to them.

PPS: The preceding photo of this series shows 7 individuals: 2 mating pairs, and 3 "singletons". Perhaps the 3 singletons were males, and all decided to mob one of the mating pairs here?
