Size: 6 mm
Found near UV balcony light.

Moved from ID Request.

Scavenger Moth
Looks like one of the scavengers. As for the bronze, you should change your WB.

Acorn Moth
I tinkered with the white balance a bit but just couldn't get it quite right.

I bought new "natural light" light bulbs for the lamps I use for indoor photography to get rid of the yellow tint in future photographs. The yellow tint is tougher to remove in photos of tinier things.

BAMONA selected the Acorn Moth as this moth's species.

ID Question
There are a lot of similar examples in this subfamily and, based on BOLD images, I would not have expected this to be Blastobasis glandulella. Would it be possible to find out how BAMONA made the ID?

Gray card
If you shoot raw, get a gray card. Otherwise, put a white piece of paper under the light and adjust your camera's color temperature until white looks white. Then remember to switch out of custom color balance when you use the camera for non-bug pictures.
