Lachesilla sulcata Garcia Aldrete 1986 - Lachesilla sulcata - Male
Attwater Prairie Chicken National Wildlife Refuge, Colorado County, Texas, USA

Size: 2.0 mm
Sorry I don't have a live shot of this one. As soon as I do I'll frass this one. I did not recognize this species so I dissected this male and made a permanent slide of the genitalia, paraproct-epiproct assemblage and was able to identify it. I used the paper by Garcia Aldrete & Mockford: Proc. Entomol. Soc. Wash. 113(4):417-425, 2011.

This species now belongs in the Sclera Group.

Frassing
I don't think I'd frass your slides, as they show more than is visible with a live specimen. I do recommend you post the slides at the highest resolution, generally in the neighborhood of 2,000 pixels wide.

This image was...
taken with my dissecting microscope and Rebel T1i camera. I wish I could come up with a better system for this application.
