Tipulid? - Tanyptera dorsalis - female

Tipulid? - Tanyptera dorsalis - Female
Nashua, New Hampshire, USA
May 20, 2013
Size: about 1 in.?
A close up of the head. Note the pseudoscorpion clinging to the either the fly's mouth parts or the base of an antenna. The insect's short 'face' and small eyes make me doubt my guess as to whether this is a tipulid or not.
