Size: 3 mm
Beat from an oak tree. Fairly sure this is a dictynid and resembles something like Mallos pearcei. See comment under epigynum image.

Moved from Mallos pearcei.

I added an image of the divided cribellum found in this female upon re-examination of the specimen. I now think it is likely M. pallidus, which should be the only species with a divided cribellum in California and is also more likely on geographic grounds than M. pearcei.

"It has been a long time since I worked with Mallos, but the epigynum of your specimen does seem to match that of M. pearcei. It doesn't look much like the other two described species from this area (M. pallidus and M. mianus)".
