Relevant to BugGuide because it has more and better reproduced photos of Gasteruption assectator than the Smith paper on Gasteruption species of eastern North America (1). However, these photos are of European specimens so there might be some differences from Nearctic specimens.

Provides persuasive data that Apiaceae (the carrot family) is the plant family by far most widely used by parasitoid wasp adults for feeding.
