nymph - Thyanta calceata

Size: around 7 mm

I found it on a plant that grows along the fence of a pasture.
I took some photos and thinking about the possibility that it may molt and pass from the juvenile stage in the adult stage, I put the bug in a jar with a small piece of plant.
After three days the change happened.

Interesting, based on this

I was pretty sure it is Thyanta custator.
I'm curious. If it was just pictures of nymph, identification would have been possible?

Oh, I see...

Good to know! Then I've never seen that one in my yard as far as I know. But since there is one Vermont data point, I guess I have a chance to find it here in NJ too...
Now I see my nymph doesn't have that black edge and yours has it!
