Florida Harvester Ants & Queen? - Pogonomyrmex badius

Florida Harvester Ants & Queen? - Pogonomyrmex badius
Tampa, Hillsborough County, Florida, USA
May 23, 2013
Im pretty sure these are "Pogo's" (Pogonomyrmex badius)
I am equally, if not more curious as to what the larger ant is.
I watched for a few minutes as the smaller ones seemed to give her alot of attention, as she paced the mound as if helping with various chores, then she decended into the mound as if it were her own.
I wonder is this their queen? or is it a hostile "takeover" from another ant queen as happens in ant colonies.
For the record I hope it was their queen and I caught a glimps at some rare or unusual activity. I took many photos of this activity.
I did not crop it too far because I think the overall view is very interesting.

Moved
The large individual is the workers' sister, a recently emerged and not yet fully colored virgin queen.

Looks right to me.
