Euschistus sp? - Holcostethus limbolarius - male

Euschistus sp? - Holcostethus limbolarius - Male
Garden City, Finney County, Kansas, USA
May 13, 2013
Many individuals collected from wheat field; this particular specimen was parasitized by a fly which has recently pupated and emerged.

Not sure if the species represented in "A Visual Guide for Identification of Euschistus spp. (Hemiptera: Pentatomidae)
in Central Texas" are adequate for determining species from SW Kansas, but according to that text E. crassus is the only species having punctate black marks around the scent gland (possibly seen in one of the photos for this specimen?).
