Antlike Jumping Spiders - Synageles

Antlike Jumping Spiders - Synageles
Weymouth Woods - Sandhills Nature Preserver, Moore County, North Carolina, USA
May 18, 2013
Suggested as a male Synageles venator, but we would appreciate an expert opinion. Thanks for any help!

Moved
Moved from Antmimic Jumper.

ID
This is Synageles.

I believe this is the last of the Synageles to be found labeled as Peckhamia. Now, I'll do the reverse.

Moved
Moved from Jumping Spiders. I'm confident enough to move it for you.

I believe this may be
a Peckhamia picata. Note the dark 1st pair of legs that is pale distally and the white spots (rather than lines) on the abdomen.

Thank you!
Think I can move it to genus, or even species, page? I know nothing about spiders, so I don't want to move it without an expert's permission.

Moved for expert attention.
