Paria frosti Wilcox, female
Moved from Paria. ID'd from specimen, now a photo-voucher. Thanks Tom.

Most likely this species, based on morphological characters and presence of host plant. Would probably need a male to be 100% sure.

host plant?
Do you recall if you found this on a plant? I'm pretty sure this is P. frosti, which has been recorded from Comptonia peregrina (sweet fern). The other possibility is P. sellata, which is recorded from Hypericum spp. (St Johns wort and related species).

I was sweep netting
in a sand pit area. I remember there was sweet fern, but not sure if there was any St John's wort.

Thanks
Good enough for me. Look for more in the future, I'd like to see a male.

OK
I should be able to find more next season. The other one I have posted here came from my yard where there's a lot of sweet fern.
Thanks for the ID!
