T. pallescens
Doubtless dozens of dasytines in southern Nevada... fortunately this is the distinctive species Trichochrous pallescens.

I saw these
in Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area

i know the subfam. placement is quite disappointing...
...to all of us, but their day will come; don't be discouraged, please keep posting dasytine photos --you must have dozens and dozens of spp. in your area

Moved from Beetles.
