Dirt-colored Seed Bug - Neopamera albocincta

Dirt-colored Seed Bug - Neopamera albocincta
Peabody, Essex County, Massachusetts, USA
May 30, 2013

well, it's back: Dr Jane O'Donnell says,
"It looks pretty much just like the one I said wasn't P. albocincta(1), which Merrill ID'd as such. It must be what it is - can't think of any other possibility. From looking at a series of specimens here, it seems as though the males have much larger forefemora than the females, and that the shape of the pronotum is also different between the sexes - I hadn't noticed this before, nor do I recall seeing any mention of this dimorphism elsewhere."

Moved from Myodochini.

i'm getting uncomfortable about that call... Lygirocoris maybe
prothorax looks too short, although it might be the angle

Moved from Neopamera albocincta.
