Bittacomorphella in Oregon? - Bittacomorphella

Bittacomorphella in Oregon? - Bittacomorphella
Sherwood, Washington County, Oregon, USA
May 4, 2013
Very common near the still-water stream in my backyard. They have one of the slowest flights of any insect I've seen. It's as if their wings barely carry them and their long legs create a lot of drag. I started seeing them in April, but this one was collected on 5/4.

Oh, I hope so! None of the specimens I find have that thickened area in the legs. I didn't realize there was more than one genus. Thanks! I will re-title my photo to your subtitle and anxiously await further comments.
