Size: 5mm
Larvae collected from Rosa palustris hips, kept indoors; pupae (above) photographed 1/7/13; some time after that they were put in soil in the refrigerator; removed from the fridge probably sometime in April; first adult (second image) emerged within a few days of 5/25/13.
I guess my record keeping could use a little work :-)

The pupae are about 5mm.
