Nice!
This is a Ceropales in the robinsonii species group, probably C. bipunctata. Many members of this group are rather uncommon, probably due to their host being even more uncommon (which is unknown in many Ceropales).

C. bipunctata for sure.
Ceropales bipunctata bipunctata...matches species description in Townes almost exactly.

.
thanks. i did find these in the university collection... same area and everything. i found a wonderful pompilid in the national gardens two days ago... no idea what they have here though, and no camera.

Ceropales
well that will teach me not to look through any keys... i was still on the fence about this being a Pompilid or just a good look alike. Ceropales are still new to me, this is the first one i have found, and glad i happened upon it... now i know. so, would this be a female or male? thank you very much for the information Nick.

Female
I can't count antennal segments clearly but the structure appears to be clearly female. In the past some workers placed the Ceropalini in its own family, and they are very different to other Pompilids, probably due to their parasitic lifestyle.

thank you
thank you Nick... if there are ever any Pompilids you want collected from the state of arkansas, feel free to request any, and if i happen upon them, i will send them your way. perhaps it could make up for you having to look at all my pictures.

Lovely
Not sure this isn't a male wasp. Interesting head structure. Excellent leg color. I have no info on the big Ageniella genus but otherwise I have trouble placing it. Unless it is a big Auplopus species that I have never seen a shot of before.
