Shining Flower Beetle - Olibrus

Shining Flower Beetle - Olibrus
Wellesley, Norfolk County, Massachusetts, USA
September 17, 2006
On Queen Anne's Lace as I recall.
Very tiny see to get some idea.

Moved

Olibrus sp.
A species of Olibrus for certain.

Matt

Phalacridae?
I would bet this is a "shining mold beetle" in the family Phalacridae. They can be abundant on flowers, especially umbelliferous blooms.
