Bob- you have indeed made my day. I am most appreciative of you having vetted my submission and rendered the ID, Tachytes crassus,a male, a first for our state!

Male - large species
A lot of his features remind me of the one that I filmed, but I cannot see enough to verify that they are the same species.
You can rule out T. guatemalensis, which have very dark wings, dark legs, darker eyes, no hairs around the edge the scutum, males with three abdominal stripes. (this one has four) Nice shots!
