Lytta sayi - male - female

Lytta sayi - Male Female
Kennebunk Plains, Kennebunk, York County, Maine, USA
June 1, 2013
Size: 2.5 cm
There was a large group of these feeding on the flowers of a black cherry which had earlier been defoliated by eastern tent caterpillars. I had never seen them here before, and when I returned to the spot the next day, the beetles were nowhere to be seen.
