Caenocara blanchardi Fall, male
Moved from Puffball Beetles. ID'd from specimen, now a photo-voucher. Thanks Tom.

As I've said before, IDs in this genus are provisional, as it needs revision. But the male having widely separated eyes and the form of the antennae and maxillary palps point to this species. Type specimens were from Tyngsboro.

Another species, C. lateralis, seems to be close to this specimen as well, but its records are more southern.
