Size: wingspan about 1 inch
Unusually clear wings with orangey-tan outer line caught our attention from other moths that showed up at night. Still present the next morning I was able to get a shot showing how well you can see through the wings.

Palpita moth
Thank you so much. I found my night time shot and that black edge is really an orangey-tan just like the image you posted. I also submitted both photos trimmed to just the moth. When it comes to moths, if they aren't one of the common types found in the regular guides, I'm lost. Really appreciate the help!
