Leptoglossus with parasite eggs (?) on head - Leptoglossus phyllopus

Leptoglossus with parasite eggs (?) on head - Leptoglossus phyllopus
Lake Dallas, Denton County, Texas, USA
June 3, 2013
I spotted this Leptoglossus on a cornflower in my yard yesterday. There is always a group of these in the yard in the summer with an assortment of nymphs but I noticed that this one has what appear to be eggs on it's head. I did catch the bug, wrapped it in gauze, and gently scraped off the eggs. Bug flew away, eggs were damaged. I read that the eggs could have been from a Tachinid fly.
