I would love to have some of these!
Could you possibly preserve some in Everclear or even rubbing alcohol and send them to me?? I really want to know if this is a different un-described species than the 2 listed in BugGuide.

I'll try to do that. Unfortunately, there were no bark lice out tonight (weather change?) By the way, what's the best way to catch a bark louse? Net? Cup? BB gun?

These are amost BB gun size but a beating sheet works too
this one is really looking like an undescribed species I call sp. # 1. Dr. Mockford is to arrive at my house tomorrow and we are going to take a look at some Hyalopsocus I collected in OK that are probably the same species.
