The specimen was good but my pictures are not! Taken hurriedly as we were leaving. Even so, I think the markings are identifiable.

6002 – Ephestiodes erythrella?
I don't know what this is but think it is probably not Canarsia ulmiarrosorella. The am line looks too different. You might take a look at images of Ephestiodes erythrella at BOLD and All-Leps here and here. That's my wild guess. Not even sure if it's in range.

for the suggestion. I see what you mean by the AM line. The first BOLD site said that it ranges from Texas north. Will be hoping to see it again and get better pictures.

Just red the description. Ephestiodes erythrella is much redder.

Went hunting for this one and I now have it in my files as 6031 – Eurythmia hospitella?

I'm glad you made this comment because I had another one that looks a lot like it on 6/17/16 that I have been looking for. From the lateral view the new one shows more white. I will post it and refer to this individual AND keep looking.
