Townsend, Middlesex County, Massachusetts, USA

Size: 2.5mm

Scymnus tenebrosus Mulsant, male
Moved from Scymnus. ID'd from specimen, now a photo-voucher. Genitalia examined for ID. Thanks Tom, a new one for the guide.

Postcoxal line recurved to base and mostly black coloration leads to only a few species. Head is mostly yellowish but no other distinct lighter color on the pronotum, elytra, or abdomen. Having the male genitalia to examine allowed easy ID.
