I'm not sure how mines of the introduced O. alni differ from those of the native O. mixtus. They're mature now (that round, inflated part in the middle of the mine where you found the larva is the cocoon), so if you put some in a vial/jar you'll have a good chance of getting adults. O. mixtus is all black, O. alni red and black.
