looks like a female Melanoplus complanatipes
These usually hang out on Sagebrush, but I suppose Juniper might make a good appetizer (or maybe a good place to just hang out?).

Moved from Grasshoppers, Crickets, Katydids.

I didn't see it feeding on the juniper; I think it was just there to shelter from wind and rain.
