Stumpy Cricket - Cyphoderris

Stumpy Cricket - Cyphoderris
near town of Calder, FS Road #1907, Shoshone County, Idaho, USA
June 7, 2013
Size: ~1"
Found on dirt road, may have been hiding under my tent that I had just taken down. Surrounding habitat was mixed conifer (Lodgepole, White, and Ponderosa pine, Douglas-fir) with brushy understory (Alder, Maple, Willow, Snowberry, Serviceberry, Cherry, etc).
~5,000 ft elevation.

It is a female Hump-winged "Cricket"
Not really a true Cricket, but called one the same way a "Mormon Cricket" is.

As for which species, I'll have to do some double-checking. They are hard to tell apart, especially the females, but there may be only one species in that area.
