I cannot find this beauty. The tiny antenna, the furry body, the head shape and the "picture wings" should make it easy, but I was not sure of where to start.

You are too fast for me. Had pulled the post up to change it to Diptera when I saw your reply. That species surely looks right to me. Looks almost identical to the Mike Quinn photo taken in Austin. However, I think mine is prettier.
