Curled Caterpillar -
Pieris rapae
Springfield, Virginia, USA
October 8, 2004
I found this curled caterpillar on a peony leaf. I guess it's in a defensive posture? It was pale green and had yellow spots. Any help identifying is appreciated.

Sulphur of some type?
Reminds me of some sulphur caterpillars I've seen. I'm at work with no references handy, but start there.

Cabbage white?
Taking your lead, I did some Google image searching and think my caterpillar might be a Pieris rapae larva, based on the yellow markings.
