Fullerton - Coyote Hills Golf Course and Sage Scrub Preserve, Orange County, California, USA
July 19, 2006
We found this individual as well as others near Peruvian pepper trees (Schinus molle)that we were removing from the Preserve. The Preserve is dominated by aromatic coastal sage scrub and supports the federally threatened California gnatcatcher. The Preserve shares many edges with a public golf course.

might be a nymph of the Mediterranean mantis, Iris oratoria. Moving this to family page for now.
