Yes, I think so
Its a fire ant (Solenopsis) - but I'm not sure which one. I don't think its S. invicta (RIFA) since I'd expect to see a dark stripe on middle of the queen face in that case. So a fire ant, but I think a local one. (wait for an expert to see if they can ID it..)
