The Genus is Geminaria.

 
So there's a possibility...
...that it's not canalis?

Geminaria canalis - you're finding the good, tough ones.
It took me three years to locate and shoot one of these at Riley, then two more years to find the other gender. BTW, yours is a female. Male has touching eyes (awwww!, plus a longer and more tapered abdomen that turns sharply up on the end.

Aren't those small, dark reflectors a trip?
