Archips ? podana - Archips rosana

Archips ? podana - Archips rosana
Lantzville, Nanaimo, Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada
June 12, 2013
Size: 12-13mm
I raised this moth from a caterpillar (my first). It was a leaf roller I found on a small (2ft tall) young tree. I thought the tree was a Red Alder but now I am wondering if it could be a Cherry tree. I'll go back and take another look after I figure out how to tell the two apart at this age.

The closest match I could find was Archips podana but I am not sure as it is a light individual.

I have photos of the caterpillar and pupa that I can add once I can figure out what this is.
