White Bug on Firebush

White Bug on Firebush
West PAlm Beach, Okeeheele Park, Palm Beach County, Florida, USA
June 13, 2013
Size: 2mm (?)
I left the bottom of the picture in so that the head of a honey bee can be used as reference for true size.

M.C. Thomas's input: "It could be Thalassa montezumae.
"We've a few larvae of what may be that and they are quite oval in shape and covered with wax. We haven't yet reared them to be certain. We do have a record of it occurring in Palm Beach Co."
